Mercedes A-Class faults – 2013
Loss of power
Until the driveshaft is reattached to the wheel hub, the power may suddenly stop working in A-Class cars made before June 30, 2013. You and your passengers are at risk if you do this. You should take your car to a repair as soon as possible if you have any doubts about whether or not this is the cause of a loss of power in your vehicle.Until the driveshaft is reattached to the wheel hub, the power may suddenly stop working in A-Class cars made before June 30, 2013. Mercedes A-Class faults – 2014
Leaking oil
Some diesel cars made between February 1, 2014 and November 30, 2014 have been reported to leak oil because an O-ring is broken or damaged. In addition to being bad for the environment, an oil leak can cause your engine to run dry and cause structural damage to your car.
One of the mechanics in our network will be able to fix the oil leak in your car. When you schedule your leak repair with SP88, you can expect to pay roughly £80.
Front passenger airbag issues
Some Mercedes A-Class cars made between September 8 and November 7 were recalled because they were put together with bad fuses. Because of this flaw, the front passenger airbag might not have worked properly in the event of a collision. The windshield wipers may potentially stop working if the fuse installation is flawed.
Steering rack issues
Steering rack failure was a regular problem in A-Class cars built before 2015. Clunking noises while driving could indicate damage to the steering rack. As a result, the steering rack may need to be replaced, but the suspension and wheel bearings may also suffer.
Mercedes A-Class faults – 2015
Failing camshaft
If your vehicle was built between July 16 and September 11, 2015, the camshaft in your engine may be defective and break. In the end, this could cause your automobile to lose power suddenly and cause damage to the engine’s internal components.
Dual-clutch automatic gearbox failure
Dual-clutch automatic gearbox failure or cracking is possible in models made between October 1 and November 19, 2015. So, if a welded part in the transmission fails, the car might go into limp mode.
Mercedes A-Class faults – 2016-2017
Airbag faults
Also, because of a problem with the airbag igniter, cars made between July 31, 2016, and March 20, 2017, have been called back. Again, this problem might cause the airbag to inflate improperly or not at all.
