What should be included in a Vauxhall Annual Service?
What tasks are completed during a Vauxhall car service?
We provide three levels of service for Vauxhall vehicles. Interim Service, Regular Service, and Major Service:
An Interim Service (the vehicle’s first, third, fifth, seventh, ninth, and eleventh) An oil and filter change, fluid-level checks (anti-freeze/coolant, brake/clutch fluid, power-steering fluid – if applicable – and screen wash top-up), a visual leak check, tyre pressure check and adjustment if necessary, wash-wipe system check and adjustment, lighting check, brake check, suspension check, and a road test, among other things, are included. Usually, you’ll be given a copy of the checklist completed during the service.
The Main Service (the vehicle’s second, sixth, and tenth service) includes replacing the battery in the key fob, pollen filter, diesel fuel filter (if necessary), and brake fluid. Inspection of the drive belt, exhaust line, and bonnet catch. Check and adjust the parking brake, and align the headlights.
The Major Service (the vehicle’s fourth, eighth, and twelfth service) includes replacing the petrol fuel filter, spark plugs, and air filter.
Additional checks over different distances or periods are advised. These include a timing-belt inspection, fuel-filter replacement (depending on the engine), brake fluid replacement, and spark plug replacement (petrol vehicles only). These items are usually extra-cost.
What tasks are completed during a Vauxhall van service?
We provide two levels of service for Vauxhall vans. Primary and Major services:
The Primary Service
(For van-specific intervals, please consult your service manual.) Our Vauxhall van specialists will replace your engine oil and filter, as well as the essential fob batteries, pollen filter, brake fluid, and a variety of other critical components checks* Van rates exclude drive/timing belts. Only genuine Vauxhall parts will be used. Furthermore, we will perform a 25-point visual inspection to determine whether any outstanding safety campaigns or changes to your Vauxhall or software are needed. In addition, we’ll mark your service book with a Vauxhall logo.
The Major Service
(Please consult your service manual for van-specific intervals.) The diesel fuel filter, air filter, and spark plugs are replaced as part of the leading service.
Additional examinations across different distances or periods are advised. These include a timing-belt inspection, fuel-filter replacement (depending on the engine), brake fluid replacement, and spark plug replacement (petrol vehicles only). These products are usually extra-cost. Please remember that Movanos can only be serviced in our Specialist Van Centres.

What different Vauxhall service plans are there?
You can create your own Vauxhall service plan depending on your vehicle’s age, mileage, and model. In addition, all Vauxhall service plans are contract-free, which means you can modify or cancel the program at any time, providing you with greater flexibility and control over how you service your vehicle.

Auto mobile mechanic Vauxhall Car Maintenance & Servicing FAQ's Tips and Advise by SP88
FAQs
You'll need to input your radio's security code, which can be found on the car pass that came with your Vauxhall when you bought it. (For more information, please refer to your Infotainment Manual.) Please move on to the next question if you do not have the code.
Please Visit Chorley Group Vauxhall with personal identification (such as your passport or driving licence) and your V5 registration papers to verify you are the vehicle's registered keeper. These precautions assist us in protecting all Vauxhall radio owners and their radios. Please keep in mind that this service will be a small fee.
The paint code is on your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate, either on the pillar behind the driver's door or the top of the panel in front of the radiator when you remove the bonnet.
Except for the 2.2-litre direct-injection petrol engine (code Z22YH) used in the Vectra, Signum, and Zafira, E10 fuel can be used in all petrol-engine Vauxhall vehicles. However, these vehicles can only run on regular or premium gasoline.
As with other car components, your Vauxhall's air conditioning unit should be serviced regularly. This is because the gas can become contaminated or the filters can become saturated over time, reducing the system's performance. It can also harbour bacteria, fungi, and mould if not properly managed. SP88 will swiftly resolve these issues by utilising an air conditioning solution that emits a pleasant odour.
Tyre pressures differ depending on vehicle model and load. The proper pressures for your Vauxhall can be discovered in the Owners' Manual, which was included in the glovebox material when you purchased it.
This information can be found in your Owners' Manual, which came with your Vauxhall when you bought it. If you want assistance, please get in touch with SP88 now!
Your Vauxhall's diesel particulate filter system removes dangerous soot particles from exhaust fumes. It has a self-cleaning function that operates automatically while driving when the filter needs to be cleaned. This can take up to 25 minutes, during which fuel usage may be higher. You may also notice the release of odours and smoke and an increase in temperature, which is a typical part of the process.
If the diesel particulate filter needs cleaning and your last journey did not allow automated cleaning, the control indication ('!) will flash. If this occurs, continue driving while keeping your engine speed over 2,000 revolutions per minute and shifting down as needed. The filter-cleaning process will begin, and we recommend that you wait to halt the travel or turn off the engine until it is completed.
If the cleaning procedure is frequently disrupted:
Your engine may have been damaged. Cleaning takes the shortest time at high engine speeds and loads, and the control indicator light ('!) turns off as soon as self-cleaning is finished.
When you check the oil level, you'll discover that diesel fuel has entered the sump. (This is one reason you should check your oil level regularly.) For short trips, please check your oil level more frequently and, if necessary, change the oil.
Please refer to your Owner's Manual for further information on the diesel particulate filter. Learn More...
