What tasks are completed during a Vauxhall car service?
We provide three levels of service for Vauxhall vehicles. Interim Service, Regular Service, and Major Service:
An Interim Service (the vehicle’s first, third, fifth, seventh, ninth, and eleventh) An oil and filter change, fluid-level checks (anti-freeze/coolant, brake/clutch fluid, power-steering fluid – if applicable – and screen wash top-up), a visual leak check, tyre pressure check and adjustment if necessary, wash-wipe system check and adjustment, lighting check, brake check, suspension check, and a road test, among other things, are included. Usually, you’ll be given a copy of the checklist completed during the service.
The Main Service (the vehicle’s second, sixth, and tenth service) includes replacing the battery in the key fob, pollen filter, diesel fuel filter (if necessary), and brake fluid. Inspection of the drive belt, exhaust line, and bonnet catch. Check and adjust the parking brake, and align the headlights.
The Major Service (the vehicle’s fourth, eighth, and twelfth service) includes replacing the petrol fuel filter, spark plugs, and air filter.
Additional checks over different distances or periods are advised. These include a timing-belt inspection, fuel-filter replacement (depending on the engine), brake fluid replacement, and spark plug replacement (petrol vehicles only). These items are usually extra-cost.

What tasks are completed during a Vauxhall van service?
We provide two levels of service for Vauxhall vans. Primary and Major services:
The Primary Service
(For van-specific intervals, please consult your service manual.) Our Vauxhall van specialists will replace your engine oil and filter, as well as the essential fob batteries, pollen filter, brake fluid, and a variety of other critical components checks* Van rates exclude drive/timing belts. Only genuine Vauxhall parts will be used. Furthermore, we will perform a 25-point visual inspection to determine whether any outstanding safety campaigns or changes to your Vauxhall or software are needed. In addition, we’ll mark your service book with a Vauxhall logo.
The Major Service
(Please consult your service manual for van-specific intervals.) The diesel fuel filter, air filter, and spark plugs are replaced as part of the leading service.
Additional examinations across different distances or periods are advised. These include a timing-belt inspection, fuel-filter replacement (depending on the engine), brake fluid replacement, and spark plug replacement (petrol vehicles only). These products are usually extra-cost. Please remember that Movanos can only be serviced in our Specialist Van Centres.
We only ever use genuine Vauxhall parts in your car. Why would we use anything else? They come with a one-year warranty when fitted by SP88's mechanic in London.
You can create your own Vauxhall service plan depending on your vehicle’s age, mileage, and model. In addition, all Vauxhall service plans are contract-free, which means you can modify or cancel the program at any time, providing you with greater flexibility and control over how you service your vehicle.
A Vauxhall service plan comprises approved servicing performed by trained technicians using genuine Vauxhall parts at a Vauxhall service centre. Approved servicing will help preserve your Vauxhall’s mechanical condition, which can contribute to increased fuel economy, lower emissions, and a higher market value. With your service plan, you’ll also receive access to several unique offers, including excellent reductions on your MOT.
Is it worthwhile to purchase a Vauxhall service plan? I hear your question, so service plans are tailored to you and your vehicle and include three years of servicing at an official Vauxhall service shop. Approved servicing means that your car is maintained by a fully qualified Vauxhall technician who utilises approved Vauxhall parts in conformity with your car’s service schedule and warranty.
We use Original engine oils with the same exacting standards as Vauxhall engines, guaranteeing the highest levels of durability, performance, and efficiency.
