How to Book an Appointment
Booking with SP88 is quick and straightforward. You can schedule your appointment online or by phone — simply follow these steps:
1️⃣ Choose Your Service Type
- Electrical Services – Diagnostics, battery faults, alternators, starters, lighting, or wiring repairs.
- Mechanical Services – Brakes, suspension, EGR valves, oil changes, coil packs, and other mobile repairs.
- Accessory Fitting – Dash cams, reversing cameras, parking sensors, stereo systems, and more.
- Partner Services – Trusted professionals for vehicle recovery, window tinting, detailing, and MOT collection & delivery.
2️⃣ Tell Us About Your Vehicle
Provide your make, model, registration, and a short description of the issue. The more detail you provide, the better we can prepare the right tools and parts.
3️⃣ Choose Your Date & Location
Pick a convenient time and location — home, work, or roadside. We’ll confirm travel time (including any distance-based surcharge from SM6 0HN – Wallington).
4️⃣ Leave a Deposit
To confirm your appointment, we require a 20% deposit. This secures your booking and allows us to allocate time, travel, and parts in advance.
5️⃣ Payment on Completion
The remaining balance is due once the job is complete.

All payments must be completed before the technician leaves your location, so please ensure you’re able to make prompt payment on the day.
6️⃣ Relax — We Come to You
Once confirmed, our technician arrives on time, fully equipped to complete diagnostics or repairs. Most services are completed in one visit for your convenience.

Service Policy & Terms
Service Charges & Payment Adjustments
- £100 Call-Out Fee – Covers travel and up to one hour of diagnostic time or labour on a single fault.
- £150 if Fixed Within the First Hour – Total cost when diagnosed and repaired within the first hour.
- £50 per Additional Hour – Any further time is billed at £50 per hour, agreed before continuing.
Multiple Faults
The first hour can only be split between multiple faults if agreed before the appointment.
£150 for up to 2 hours of labour and diagnostics / £300 total if at least one fault is repaired.
Distance Surcharge
Applies to locations beyond 30 minutes from SM6 0HN (Wallington) — calculated at the time of the job:
- £25 extra for 30–45 minutes away
- £50 extra for 45–60 minutes away
Weekend Rates (Saturday & Sunday)
- £150 Call-Out Fee – Covers up to one hour of diagnostic or labour time.
- £200 if Fixed Within the First Hour – When repair is completed during that visit.
Parts, Warranty & Customer-Supplied Components
All SP88-supplied parts come with a 12-month parts and labour warranty. If you supply your own parts:
- No warranty is provided or implied for customer-supplied or used parts.
- If parts are incorrect or incompatible, the standard call-out charge still applies.
- Returning to fit correct parts will incur the standard service rate.
- Used parts are fitted entirely at the customer’s risk.
Revisits & Follow-Up Appointments
- Reduced call-out fee of £80 for revisits related to the same fault.
- Distance surcharges still apply.
- Extra time beyond one hour is billed at £50 per hour (agreed in advance).
Service Documentation Consent
By booking with SP88, you consent to possible documentation for training or promotional use (photos or short videos). You may opt out during booking. All media remains SP88 property and privacy is respected.
Refunds, Cancellations & Delays
- Free cancellations up to 24 hours before your appointment.
- Late cancellations (within 24 hours) may incur a call-out fee.
- We understand delays happen — please communicate if you or our technician are running behind.
- Services already completed are non-refundable except for defective parts or agreed exceptions.
- All refunds exclude payment transaction fees.
Post-Service Policy & Damage Claims
Report any concerns within 24 hours of completion. SP88 will investigate and resolve fairly. If responsible, we’ll provide repair or compensation as appropriate.
Dispute Resolution
- Direct discussion between the customer and SP88.
- Mediation if needed to ensure fairness.
- Documented outcome to maintain trust and professionalism.
